Curly is old school COOL. This handsome red dun gelding presents bone, substance, and is old school ONE hand broke. They don’t make many like them like Curly anymore. Curly may be the most versatile horse I’ve ever ridden. From roping one outside to toting the kids around.

Curly knows a hard days work, and has been working for a living. He’s a gentleman to be around and the kind of horse you can’t wait to spend the day on. ▪️



Curly is 13 years old, registered and is by a son of the great Peppy San Badger. I truly believe this is the most solid and sane horse I’ve ever swung a leg over. He’s roped hundreds of cattle outside and been used to brand calves. Curly has coved lots of country outside. He will ride out by himself and never look back. He will go over, under, or through where ever your heart desires. Curly rides between the bridle reins and will never refuse your hand. True one hand broke! He carries his head below the saddle horn, and will collect up as well. He is soft in the bridle.

Curly lopes circles in both directions, will drag his tail end, stays standing still till you ask him to step off. He’s got a comfortable jog trot, and a sweet lope.

Curly has been mainly used outside for ranch work, but knows about trail riding and arena work as well. We feel like we have exposed Curly to many things all of which he was handled extremely well.

Curly is safe, sound, and sane. He loads, unloads, stands for farrier, stands to saddle, easy to bridle. Super easy to catch.

We’re proud to offer him and can’t wait to see his future with the next individual. Horses with Curly’s demeanor are to find, he likes you as much as you like him. He is ready to go to work for you whether you want use him as ranch horse, trail horse, or tote the kids around you will be mounted.
