Description:
Hondo is a 5yr old, 14.3hh, grade sooty buckskin gelding. If you ever envisioned owning the horse from The Man From Snowy River, Hondo could be his better looking twin. Hondo has been with us since June of 2021. He only had 10 rides but had extensive groundwork done in his younger years making riding a breeze. We rode him through the summer and then he was turned out. Fall of 2021 he was used outside for daywork for approximately 45 days. Fast forward to now, he has a recent 30 days and is ready to head any direction. He’s laid back, very gentle on the ground with an in your pocket personality, has a rocking horse style lope, will contently hangout in the chaos that is the roping pen, and has been introduced to various obstacles (water, bridges, tarps, flags, bouncy balls, etc). This is a very attractive and stout made young prospect that has all the qualities to be something spectacular when finished out.







Hondo will be available in the Guy Bynum Livestock Catalog Horse Sale happening February 12th & 13th in Atalla, AL. Online bidding is available on HiBid. He is hip number 8.
