He’s been a top-notch ranch horse, and rode extensively in the feed yard where his duties included shipping, sorting, and doctoring sick cattle. We have also heeled on Queso. He’s quiet in the box and makes the corner great every time. We believe he’d make into a breakaway horse overnight. He tracks cattle extremely well and has had lots of them roped on him in the wheat fields. He’s also been a favorite lesson horse! Our kids love to grab him and swing up to go for a joy ride through town! He is SO gentle and stays that way no matter if you ride him everyday or once a month. This horses other great qualities are how incredibly smooth and user-friendly he is! Anyone can get along with this horse, no knowledge needed! We have put countless different riders on him and he adapts to every single one! His walk, trot, and lope are smooth as butter and he has perfect ranch horse manners! Queso’s personality is one that will win you over at the start! He’s sweet, respectful, and inquisitive. Queso has been around tarps, traffic, machinery, dogs, semis, fireworks, all ages of children, and every bit of chaos we can throw at him! He takes it all like a gentleman! It’s no accident this horse is so nice, he’s by Shiners Wrangler who is an own son of NRHA leading sire Shinning Spark (Ten MILLION DOLLAR SIRE!) and is out of a daughter of Freckles Merada!
