Description:
Nice, gentle 12 year old AQHA gelding. Hollywood Dun It x Doc Bar bred. Previously used as a rope horse. Very honest, has been off for over a year and saddled right up out of the pasture and rode off like any other day. He’s very broke and let my 6 year old very novice, beginner daughter ride him all over. Absolutely no buck!



The story on this horse: he was left with me (at a rehab facility) fall 2020 after having been diagnosed with navicular disease. The owner was planning to have him nerved and rehab with us then use as a youth rope horse for his son..... owner was out of state, never paid his bills, one thing after another, kept post-poning the neurectomy, never came for the horse, eventually we acquired him. The horse has legally been turned over to us and we have all his paperwork to be transferred to a new owner.

I worked for an equine sports medicine clinic, we went ahead and nerved him. He is about 90 days post being nerved and 80% sounder.

I have video of him being ridden and showing his current soundness. He is a very kind horse and ready for a home that will use him. He will be great for a beginner/youth, light everyday riding, trail riding, moving cattle etc. It’s very likely he can go back to being roped on again if well managed but I’m not advertising/ guaranteeing it because that will be very dependent on what the buyer is willing to put into him.
