Grindstone Cattle Co is looking to fill an immediate full-time position for an assistant trainer. Must be savvy on colt starting, because nearly our whole business is the first 90 days on 2 and 3 year old’s. While its best if they don’t buck you have to be able to handle it, so if you can’t ride something that bucks don’t apply. Most of these are very nice colts advancing on to roping, ranch, reined cowhorse, or cutting. I generally have 14 outside horses and around 25 personal horses. This is mostly a riding job, but you will be expected to help feed and help clean some stalls as well. There will also be some general ranch hand duties from time to time. Pay is hourly.
