Description:
Deep Springs College seeks a Ranch assistant/foreman. This position will be responsible for irrigation, haying and other ranch duties at a unique college and ranch setting on the California/Nevada border.



Duties include:



Operation, maintenance and repair of irrigation pump and wheel line sprinkler system, operation, maintenance and repair of haying and farming equipment, weed and pest control, help maintain and improve soil fertility, help with ranch infrastructure maintenance and repair, helping during large cattle works and other duties assigned by Ranch Manager.



Additionally, the assistant/foreman will carry out these duties while supervising and teaching student laborers. This is a challenging and rewarding position with great benefits which include working with talented and enthusiastic young people who are eager to learn from you and your experiences.
