Description:
The Bar NI Ranch in southern Colorado is looking for a seasonal ranch hand for their 2022 guest season.



This position works directly under our agricultural foreman with such duties as irrigation, hay production, weed spraying, fencing, mowing grounds, working cattle and all other assigned duties. Please note that very little of this job is done on horseback. Previous experience in this field is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone that is a hard, motivated worker that can work with a team or individually. Long hours and working in all types of weather is common. Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Starting in September, this position has added responsibilities to assist with our elk hunting operation with scouting, retrievals, skinning, etc. There is potential for this person to work as or up into an elk hunt guide (archery and rifle) if they show competence and ability.



Compensation includes housing (shared) including all utilities, meals, salary (DOE), share of tips, season end bonus, and access to ranch amenities on days off. This position begins in April or May and ends in October or November. We are somewhat flexible on start and end days.
