Description:
We are looking AGAIN for someone who has the ability to impress me on a ranch. Seems I can’t find the individual willing to pay the price of learning. We are a tightly run operation with high expectations. These cattle and equipment are our livelihood and they will be yours if you learn to take care of them in a manner that builds our place rather than runs it down. We run a herd of 600+ cows and summer around 1200 yearlings. We also run a brood band of 25 mares and two stallions. Experience in calving, doctoring, horsemanship, roping, organizing, cleanliness, haying, irrigating, trucking and other general ranch duties will really enhance your chance to get the job. We live an hour from the nearest small town. Two hours from a Walmart. We discourage tobacco chewing and alcohol. We also like to keep the cussing down to a minimum. Summer requires a lot of riding, often 14 hours in the saddle per day three or four days a week. We calve in Feb-April.
