Description:
"Stumpy" is a 2013 grade gelding, he has been used in all aspects of ranching. He is super gentle, easy going, and dependable. He is a easy keeper and very level headed. He has a permanent light gimp from when he was younger but it never gets worse or better no matter how long the day and it doesn’t effect his ability to do anything. He had a injury to his withers when he was younger from a previous owner and will set back if you cinch him up too fast. He hobbles and ties up fine, loads fine and unloads fine as long as he’s not backing out. He is not very good to shoe, we only put fronts on him. We have had him for the past four years and bought him with the quirks listed above and he was still my husband’s daily ride. I have also rode him before no issues. He can be a follow around horse or a get the job done horse. He has no buck or aggression and can go months being laid off and then be saddled back up no problem. He has a working mind and watches cows. The only reason we are selling him is because we need room in our string for my two year old sons horse.
