Description:
Pebbles is one of the sweetest horses we have ever had. She loves people, will come walking up to you and stick her head in the halter when you walk out to her pen, and is not at all mare-ish. She is a 17 year old Appaloosa mare, 14.2hh with a ton of color and shape, a decent mane and a great tail. She has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. She has been ridden by both kids and beginners, rides English and Western, bareback, and double. Pebbles is not bothered by dogs, has been used to push cows on the ranch, will do obstacles, and does it all with a great attitude. She is such a pleasure to have around and is the favorite of all the kids at the barn. Pebbles is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, rides great in the arena with no gate issues, and isn’t spooky. She travels on a loose rein, and while she is gentle she does have some pep in her step. She will walk quietly all day long, and will easily step into a trot or lope if asked. Pebbles will ride in a bit ut prefers to ride in a hackamore. She has an excellent neck rein, will direct rein, and stops easily. She has a smooth trot and lope, is good on both leads, and very easy to control even for kids. She has been used to give lessons to both kids and adults. Pebbles can be ridden out by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. She has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
