Description:
Hello my name is Sam Myers. I’m 32 years old married with a 5 year old and 4 year old boys. I currently manage a large seedstock operation out of KS. I oversee the welfare of 1200+ head of cows/ yearlings and bulls. I handle all pasture management and rotation using horses and stockdogs. Plus every other task involved in running a ranch on a day to day basis. We feed all home raised calves in a small background facility. We put on two bull sales a year and I take pride in raising a high quality animal.

Before my current job I was division foreman on a large operation in north central Nevada and oversaw the care of 2,000 commercial cows plus all yearlings and bulls involved. I had 4 full time employees working for me.

My family and I are hoping to get back to bigger cowboy country again and help run a cow-calf/ yearling operation. The ideal job for us would be to have a ranch foreman division to run myself again or a lead cowboy position. My family is very involved and likes to help as often as possible when the situation allows for them to be out. We do currently have 5-6 horses and 3 stockdogs that are all very well behaved and know their jobs well. Housing must be provided. Please call or message 406-698-9604 for more information.
