Description:
Here is an exceptional all around gelding that you can take to the show arena and win on, take him to the mountains to ride your favorite trails or put him to work roping and sorting cattle on the ranch! This jack of all trades is 5 years old, 15 hands and is registered with the ApHC. Jagger has been professionally trained and shown in the Ranch Horse Versatility and Cow Horse classes with placings at the ApRHA World Show in the Cow Horse and Ranch Trail. He is quick on his feet and very responsive to light hand and leg cues. He is nicely trained and fun to ride with good spins, has a nice sliding stop and is automatic in his lead changes. We have used him for all aspects of ranch work from gathering, sorting and trailing cattle off the mountain to pasture doctoring and dragging calves in the branding pen. He has also been started roping both ends in the arena. Jagger is one of those naturally confident type of horses that will go up, down, over or through just about anything you ask him to. He is surefooted in steep terrain, goes right through big, technical water crossings, breezes through the obstacle course, carries flags and crosses bridges, deadfall and tarps with ease. We have really enjoyed having this nice gelding around and believe he has the talent to excel in a variety of disciplines or make one of the fanciest, flashiest trail riding horses around!
