Description:
Macie is a precious 12.2H haflinger cross kids pony that is broke and absolutely gentle. She’s adorable with good conformation and a cute little head with the sweetest face you’ve ever seen. She has more go than her sister Kacie but is still a super safe pony. She will step right out when asked to trot and lope. She’s super cute to lope around. She hasn’t had any real professional training but she’s been ridden literally hundreds of miles and countless hours. She’s been ridden all over the ranch and the kids go along with dad to push and move cows on her. She can keep up with the big horses all day long. You can feel comfortable letting the kids ride off alone on her. You can pony her off another horse if your child isn’t ready to ride alone yet and she will stay right next to the horse leading her. She’s been on organized trail rides as well as family trail rides. She goes through rough terrain, up and down hills, through water, over logs and bridges. She rides around wagons, tractors, ATV’s, bicycles and dogs and isn’t really bothered by any of it. She’s been ridden down the road and is safe around traffic. The kids painted and dressed her and her sister up with lights and decorations and rode them in the Christmas parade of lights.

She’s been to playdays and ridden by the kids but only at a walk/trot through the events. She’s never been pushed hard through them so she doesn’t get excited or hot in the arena. She’s also been used for the peewee leadline classes.

Another great and fun thing about her is she’s a very accomplished driving pony. She’s been used to pull a small wagon on trail rides. She’s been driven in parades. She’s also been used to pull a small feed wagon on the ranch.

Macie is just an all-around sweet pony that has done a little bit of several different things but her only real specific job has been being a kids pony. She’s absolutely safe for the kids to catch, groom and tack up themselves. If you want a darling pony that is really pretty, very sweet, been lots of miles and that isn’t super expensive then you should consider Macie. She doesn’t have any snotty or rude pony habits. We have a pair of these ponies that are full sisters and both of these girls are super precious.
