Description:
Bambi is a gorgeous dark chestnut mare that anyone will fall in love with. She has great conformation with a beautiful head and big soft doe eyes which is how she got her name. She is absolutely safe, sane and gentle and she would be a great choice if you’re looking for a versatile horse that you can show, use around your farm to check your cattle and trail ride. Bambi was started and trained in western pleasure. This mare is a phenomenal walk/trot horse and could be extremely competitive at the AQHA shows. She would excel in Ranch Pleasure and Ranch Riding. She would be competitive in the performance halter classes as well. She’s been shown on a Saturday night open show circuit and did really well. However this great mare isn’t just an arena horse. You can ride her on the ranch or farm to check or move your cows. She will push cows from pasture to pasture with no issues whatsoever. If you have wild cows that run off she won’t be the one to run and head them off LOL. The older kids have ridden her all over the ranch. She also trail rides awesome. She will ride through the water, up and down hills, through rough terrain, over logs and bridges. She’s been ridden in town under the bright lights and she was great. I think this sweet mare would make a great lesson horse if you wanted to use her for that because she is very tolerant. She is athletic enough that you could even do drill team with her. With her age, ability, training, mind set and willingness the sky is the limit with her. Bambi has a really good pedigree and would raise a super nice baby after you’ve ridden her a few years. This sweet girl stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls without issue.
