Description:
Nugget is a gorgeous 7 year old gelding with a heart the size of Texas. This guy has a gentle demeanor, making him very easy for most to get along with however he still has a motor and work ethic to get any job done. He is big bodied and built to last. He is the same horse every time you climb on- even after time off he never has any nonsense. He was started by professional cowhorse trainers as a 3 year old and is very broke to ride. He has had a lot of Parelli Natural Horsemanship groundwork done. He will ride soft in the face, lope nice circles and pack a good stop. He knows all aspects of ranch work and has extensively been rode outside. He has mainly been packing elk in the Wyoming mountains the past few years during hunting season, he is great tied on a highline. Along with the hunting/ranch life he has been hauled to town to the pro rodeos, open rodeos, the bright lights of Fort Worth and rode through town with traffic. He will pack a carry a flag and good in parades. With his nice handle and exposure, he is a true go-to kind of horse. He has nice good feet, good for the farrier, currently barefoot but has had shoes on in the past. He has not been passed around, He was born in Wyoming from an AQHA stallion but out of a grade QH ranch mare, so he does not have papers.
