He’s the unicorn pony you’ve been searching for. He is the ultimate slow poke pony you need for your child’s first pony. He is better than any insurance policy you can buy for taking care of your kiddo. He’s 42” tall, shapey, doll headed and looks like a tiny quarter horse. We’ve had this darling pony a long time and he’s taught several tiny kids how to groom, lead, ride, etc. They drag him around like a rag doll all over the place even into the house. He’s stroller broke, wagon broke, dog broke, he’s even been around the ranch wallaby (mini kangaroo). He’s been ponied, led or ridden literally what seems like a thousand miles around this place because when the kids are here they never put him away. We can tie him to the fence in the arena when we’re riding and the 2 yr old baby crawls on him, under him, sits on him “riding” by herself like her mom. He has the patience of 3 saints when it comes to the babies. We use him for pony parties and events here at the ranch with up to 200-300 people. He’s given hundreds of pony rides to kids that have never even seen a pony in real life. All the noise, festivities, craziness and large decorations never phase him. He always knows if he has a timid kid on board and will walk as slow as you need him to if they’re scared. The kids ride him on the ranch to go along with dad pushing cows. They “help” dad push cattle down the alleys to load trucks. They love to track the roping dummy and slow steers around the arena on him because he’ll fall right in behind them all day long like a big horse and the kids think it’s too neat. He’s been trail ridden extensively and has been ridden in traffic, down the side of the highway, across overpasses, in rough terrain, through water and over logs and bridges. He of course has been ridden a lot with another horse or with a whole group but he will willingly ride out alone too. We have friends we loaned him to that took him up in the mountains for the grandkids to ride with them. They said he maneuvered around like a little mountain goat picking his way up and down and never took a wrong step. This is a GREAT pony that’s for sale not on sale. Yes he’s priced higher than a lot of people want to spend on a pony but you can’t put a price on the safety of your child or grandchild if you’re looking for a starter first pony.
