Description:
Charlie is a 9yr old, 14.3 hand, 1150 lb gray ranch gelding. We bought Charlie straight off the 300,000 acre Wagonhound Ranch in Wyoming, where he was bred and raised, and he is packing their brand. An own son of WR This Cats Smart, a NCHA & NRCHA all time leading sire whos get have won over $14.5 million and out of an own daughter of Playgun.  This is a very nice gelding that came out of a great program, started as a working cowhorse, and has been used as a ranch horse since broke. He will have a flying lead change, stop and turn around like one should and hook up on a cow and fence one in the arena. A really nice horse to ranch on, sure footed in any terrain, cross water, big ’ol trot with lots of bottom. Tended lots of cattle in BIG country, roped outside and in the pens, drug lots of calves to brand. Real handy in the pens stripping or sorting, automatic on gates. Charlie is gentle and stays gentle, very talented with a show horse handle, and enough umph to run a cowhorse pattern and work a cow, but better outside than most trail horses. Been ridden with dogs to gather cattle and gets along great. Make a team roper on either end in a heartbeat.
