Description:
Exposed for a 2022 foal. ‘Italy’ is a 86% NFQHA (F0039299) bay filly with an irregular strip and snip, both rear white ankles and a right front pastern and all three have lots of distal spots. Her dam, Angel Lace Reed JW, is a foal we raised ourselves and is a very special mare for us as she is named after her wonderful grandmother, BP Princess Lace aka Angel, who is now deceased after raising her very last foal for us in 2014. Angel Lace Reed JW is just a fantastic JK Jay Reed daughter out of a Peponita granddaughter. The dam’s sire is our very own JK Jay Reed aka Pine Cone, a 96% foundation bred stallion. The JK Jay Reed horses have a huge amount of ‘cow’. They are very smart, athletic, kind and fast learners. They are the kind of horses that can go any direction from the ranch to trail to show to rodeo. His pedigree speaks for itself and is as foundation bred as they come. Poco Pine, Continental King, Whiskey Bert, Joe Reed II are all on his papers. It is important to note that King P-234 is very close up in his pedigree and he traces to King a total of 6 times!

Italy’s sire is a younger Paddy’s Irish Whiskey stallion we had and this is his first foal. Hiline Whiskey aka ‘Oak’ was a 2014 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. We also own his full brother Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop whom we purchased back in 2010 and he has produced foals for us since 2014. When we had the opportunity to purchase Whoop’s full brother, Hiline Whiskey, we were thrilled. Whoop has produced some very gorgeous foals showing lots of athletic ability. We were extremely excited to see what Oak could also do, however Oak was lost due to a severe injury in May 2018. Italy was Oak’s only foal in 2018 and he had only one other filly born in 2019. Italy is five panel NN and she will enter the broodmare bunch in 2021. The last few pictures are of 2012 Hiline Whiskey.

Italy is a great young mare exposed to Goldun Topsail aka Topper for her first foal in 2022. She has not been preg checked yet but can be as well as update more pictures upon request. She was successfully started under saddle briefly as a 2 year old for 30-45 days but never ridden outside or for any length of time. Topper’s foals start priced at $4000. This will be his second foal crop. Italy is a fancy granddaughter of Paddys Irish Whiskey with Peponita on the bottomside.
