Description:
Family of four seeking ranch. We are looking to trade blood, sweat and cash for feed for our 120 spring calving cows, with an opportunity to add cows and eventually take over full time operation of a 300+ head outfit via cow purchase, lease or partnership. I currently work a rotational schedule (2 weeks on 2 weeks off) in the oilfield as a working foreman and run our cows on leased ranches.



I can handle started colts, heifers, big country, dry country, cold wind, deep snow, high altitude, a spade shovel, and finding the trailer or calving pen in the dark. Will lead a crew or follow orders and am just as content working alone. Though I have operated and maintained many different pieces of equipment, and maintain a Class A CDL, I have limited experience farming, but am willing to learn. My wife keeps a tidy house/yard, and is willing to work outside of the home. Our young children will be respectful, well mannered, and eager to help.



We are currently located in Eastern Oregon, but are very interested in relocation to the right part of any mountain or plains state. On ranch housing, a family friendly environment, space for three to four saddle horses and three working dogs required. I don’t drink alcohol, or use tobacco.
