Scoot is a darling little bay with roaning 14H gelding that was started like a cutter and is the coolest young horse ever. Don’t let his age scare you because he may be 3 but truly an old soul in a young body and I would trust him with anyone from the kiddos to my granddad. He was actually ridden by a man in his 80’s before we got him. He’s very cowy and has been sorted on. He does all the things you’d want your horse to do... he carries his head level, neck reins, turns around, two tracks, picks up his leads, lopes great circles, moves off your leg and has a big stop. He’s very good to gather on, you can prowl pastures alone on him or check fence. You can load trucks on him or work the alleys. We’ve got him started tracking the smarty and live steers and he should make a super neat heel horse. He’s also the perfect size to make a calf horse. He would be a candidate to train in the working cowhorse. He’s an extremely athletic young horse that would do well in about anything you wanted him for. He has his whole life ahead of him and is one of the very best minded young horses we’ve had. He trail rides like a dream. He has been ridden in large groups. He is also very confident to ride out alone anywhere you want to go. He’ll go through water, maneuver hills, go over logs and bridges. He will ride down the road and isn’t scared of traffic. He will easily maneuver extreme trail obstacles. On top of all that he’s adorable cute with the sweetest face. Scoot has absolutely no bad habits or vices. He stands for the farrier, ties, clips, bathes, loads and hauls. Small horses that are this broke and gentle that have quality are hard to find. Scoot is a super special little guy that deserves a great home where he will shine like the star he is.
