2013 Buckskin Roan, Registered Pony of America





“Pappy” is a 8 year old registered POA. He has been rode all summer long outside doing all aspects of ranch work by a fourteen year old boy and is seen being rode in the videos by him in majority of the video. He stands 13.3 stout heavy build with big bone and wants to ride around like a big horse, has a good forward movement to him and will cover ground. No buck or bad habits. Just a good honest horse that wants to work and please. He knows his surroundings and will keep a youngster out of a bind and will let him learn the ropes to riding outside on a step up horse. Great ranch pony that can gather, drag, rope, and be used for all ranch work. Good for a young rider that needs a step up pony that can actually do work and is good for a adult to ride as well. Crosses water and any type of pasture with ease. He is also started on the heel side and has a good stop and turn around to him. He is a hard to find type of pony that will last a long time and be a steady mount for a lot of people. Clean x rays and sound.
