Description:
RED ZAN ZIP (BARON) is a 2007 AQHA registered dark bay gelding. He stands just under 15.3 hh and weighs 1275 lbs. He is big, beautiful and broke with a big hip and front end to match, strong black feet, good bone and a beautiful head. He is straight front and back. Baron has a great disposition, gets along well with other horses and is an easy keeper. He is very respectful on the ground. Baron ground ties, will stand tied, stands to groom, saddle, mount, bath, etc. He is great with the farrier. Baron loads and unloads with ease and travels quietly. We use him primarily for trail riding and camping. He is great on the trails whether front, middle, back or by himself. No nonsense about crossing water, downfall, bridges, etc. He high-lines, hobbles and is excellent in rocky terrain. No buck, bite, kick or rear. Baron spent time on a cattle ranch in Wyoming before we bought him and has no issues around cattle. He is fine in the arena but is really an outside guy. We have not used him for roping. You can ride him bareback if that’s what you like. You go out to feed and he is talking and there to meet you. Current on vaccinations, teeth, worming and coggins.
