Description:
We are looking for our next long term employee, someone who is motivated and self driven. Cattle knowledge is a must, although THIS IS NOT A BUCKAROO POSITION. Everything from basic doctoring to basic cattle handling and daily care, fence building and repair.



Farming knowledge is just as important here, including but not limited to; operation and maintenance of farm equipment. We put up all of our own hay; 3x3 big bales as well as a small quantity of two string small bales that mostly concist of alfalfa and grass. We run most types of irrigation; flood, hand lines, wheel lines, and pivots. Good crop and water management is very important to us, as we are a self-sustaining operation. Also, welding and fabrication skills are definitely a plus.



There are many benefits that come with the position including: available housing (choice of house depends on spouse and number of kids), a ranch pickup (so that you don’t use your personal vehicle), potential boarding for one or two horses, cut and wrapped beef bi-yearly. And also the opportunity to enroll in health, dental, and 401K.
