Z PARS CHEROKEE DREAM – 2012 APHA Sorrel Tobiano Gelding x Zan Parr Jingo out of Montadocs Bay Bunney x Montadocs Paint. Picasso is the horse that you can enjoy for any type of riding. Everything I tell you about him we have done again and again with him. He is very well seasoned on the trails, goes through every water crossing in our path and does it willingly, I’m pretty sure he enjoys the deep creeks. Crossing bridges and deadfall doesn’t even make him blink. We ride Picasso down the sides of the road and don’t worry a bit about traffic. The stupid dogs that are out of control, wild goats running around and crazy kids don’t even bother him. We used Picasso this summer at the Pro Rodeo in town to carry flags in the grand entry and do all the drill team exercises, the rodeo had a record crowd and Picasso was awesome! We have used him on the ranch gathering cattle and we have roped the dummy and live cattle on him. Picasso is very well trained in the arena as well. He has a beautiful jog trot and really nice short lope. He will hit both his leads from a walk easily. He rides very quietly and responsively with leg pressure and collects himself nicely. Picasso is a wonderful horse.
