Description:
Melody is a 12yr old, 15.1hh, grade buttermilk buckskin mare that is one of the smoothest rides we’ve had in awhile. If you like one with a rocking horse lope and that’s content just walking along the trail, she fits the bills.

Melody has been miles down state trail ways, ridden outside on the ranch to check fences, and has even done a few open fun shows where her cadence is always commented on. She is one hand broke, picks up both leads easily, will bridle up or ride on a loose rein, side passes, and goes where you point her. Melody is the same all the time and is as calm as you could ask one to be on the ground. She is the one you throw the beginners on to tag along on the trail ride because she is just that easy.

Melody stands for flagging, tarping, will carry a flag, and will even let you blow dry her off with a leaf blower. She is good for the farrier, and loads/unloads without any trouble. She is 100% sound.
