Description:
Stick is a good looking 12 year old sorrel gelding, 14.3 hh and nicely built with a big hip, 4 black feet and a pretty head. He is very well bred, by an own son of Playgun, and registered with AQHA as “Lonestars Playin Gin” #5272460. Check out his complete pedigree at: https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/lonestars+playin+gin Stick has been used on the ranch, done some team sorting, ponied colts, and has been ridden extensively on trail rides. He is nicely broke with smooth gaits, easy transitions, and a good one handed neck rein. He has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and rides quietly on a loose rein. Stick is laid back yet responsive, happy to walk quietly all day long but will easily step into a trot or lope if asked. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He will work off your leg, open and shut gates, and will sidepass. Stick will go up, over or through anything you point him at, and is very sure footed. He can be ridden by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. Stick has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. He is responsive and does have plenty of speed if you ask him for it so I would recommend him for an intermediate or better rider. Asking $7500. He has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to load, haul and shoe. Teeth, coggins worming and shoes were just done so he is ready to go.
