Description:
ISO: Ranch hand/manager – Fulltime

Location: Family-owned Black Angus operation in the Sandhills of Nebraska.

Job Responsibilities:

• Care of daily operation

• Cattle operations, including but not limited to: calving, doctoring, feeding, AI

• Helping plan and manage a herd of 1100 cattle

• Help planning haying and managing the hay crew

• Maintain and build fence lines

• Manage crew of 1-7 people daily depending on time of year

• Managing all pivot and flood irrigation systems

• Maintain and operate equipment (side by sides, trucks, tractors, and other equipment)

• Other ranch tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for corral repairs

• Well and water checks

• Welding (not required but helpful)

• Knowledge and implementation of BQA

• Honest

• Disciplined
