Description:
Cow/calf ranch in western Nebraska Sandhills seeking motivated person for cattle ranch. Full time, long term employment. All cattle work is done horseback. We are looking for a fit enthusiastic person to work along side owner or independently when needed. This is a physical job requiring some mechanical skills, equipment operation, care of livestock, flexible time off, general mechanical interest and aptitude. Driver’s license required. Horseback skills a plus. Job includes haying, feeding, calving and general care of cattle, fence and corral repair, critical thinking, checking water. We would love to have a positive, up-beat person to match our personalities. We are serious about our work but want to make it as enjoyable as possible. Housing provided 1/4 mile from main house gives privacy for both of us. Nice accommodations. Multi bed/bath, deck, quiet. House and reasonable utilities are part of the compensation package. Beef can be negotiated. Salary is based on experience and probationary period will be used to establish you have the skills that you profess
