DP was born and raised on San Jon Ranch, where we have been breeding good-minded family ranch and performance horses for over 50 years. We are proud to offer DP, who is a solid, kind, gentle gelding, who has carried most of our family members, ages ranging from 2 to 80! He easily rides away from other horses and is a gentleman coming back to the barn. He’s been ridden down our county road with several trucks/trailers coming by and it doesn’t phase him. Cattle work comes naturally, either sorting or roping. This horse can sit out in the pasture for long periods of time and ride off without a hitch. DP would work nicely as a Versatility Ranch horse, rope horse or a solid companion to ride down the trail with friends. He is AQHA Ranching Heritage Eligible.
