Badger is a very nice reining trained gelding. He knows all maneuvers. Spins, slides, lead departures, and flying lead changes. He is a beautiful smooth moving horse. He has been shown in the Open and Non Pro but He has not been shown in about 3 years. It sure wouldn’t take much to get him tuned up and ready to go again. Badger is Gentle and easy to get along with, I think he would be a great fit for someone starting out in reining or would make a great 4H horse for a kid with some experience. Badger has just been shown in reining, but I think he would do amazing in other classes like ranch riding, trail, and would be super cute English. He is a very friendly horse and lives up to his name “Mister Luver Boy” He is easy and safe to be around on the ground, stands tied, good to bath, catch, load, shoe, saddle, and bridle. Badger is also good to ride outside on trails and has no issues going out by himself. He is gentle, no buck, stays broke, not very spooky, but he is very broke and responsive so I would recommend an intermediate rider. With all the amazingness this horse comes with he does come with two downfalls but placed in the right home neither will be an issue. 1: He is scared of cattle, he’s not going to make a ranch horse, rope horse or anything that has to do with cattle. 2: he was a stud till he was 5 years old, if he is pastured or penned right across from a mare he will act study, once he is caught you can tie him, load, him, and ride him right next to mares and he wont even lift an eyebrow, its ONLY when he is turned loose. This is an incredibly nice horse by NRCHA Million Dollar Sire Mister Dual Pep!!! Badger currently has front pads on due to a stone bruise, he does not require them! He has straight legs, sound, he passed a vet check last fall, current vet checks welcome. No maintenance. One small scar on the RF cannon. Come try him out and you will fall in love! He is a total gentleman in every way!
