Description:
Jake is a very pretty buckskin colored dun gelding. He was the ranch owners main mount and is kind minded and gentle. He stands 15.2 and has a lot of bone under him. He’s solid, sane and knows his job. He’s been used on the ranch for most everything. He’s great to gather on because he came from a ranch where they gather off sections not just pastures. He knows how to travel and will hit a long trot and go for miles really covering some ground. Ride him sunup to sundown or just a couple hours it’s all the same to him as he always has a good work ethic. He is awesome to pony colts off of. He would be a great choice if you need one to pony race horses because no matter how rank a colt gets Jake will stay steady and take them where he needs to.

Jake has also been hauled and trail ridden all over the Texas Panhandle, New Mexico and into the Colorado mountains. He’s confident riding out alone also. They’ve taken him on week long trail rides and camped out. He’s been ridden around ATV’s, tractors, bicycles, dogs and he just take it all in stride. He’ll tie to a picket line and will eat and drink in new places. He’s a very cool horse that is ready to do whatever you want him to. If you’re looking for a big beautiful gelding that is sane minded, good colored, rides great, is kind, beautiful and reasonably priced then you’ve found your guy.
