This is probably the nicest gelding I have ever offered. We bought Huey as a 3yr old, my husband Ryan Harrington started him and has done all the work on him. He is a finished ranch horse, and he will ride straight up in the bridle (but he will ride in whatever you want to put on him). Huey is experienced and finished in every aspect of ranch work. He is cowy and fun to sort on in the pens, alleys, or out in the pasture. He has drug hundreds of calves to the fire and pulls well from the horn. He has pasture roped everything from calves, yearlings, cows, bulls and will hold rope while you doctor. He has seen a lot of rough country, crosses water, logs, bridges, bogs, and anything else you point him at. Huey is extremely gentle and laidback. Zero Buck, not spooky, no bite, kick, rear, or any dangerous habits. He is incredibly good at reading his rider and taking it slow and easy with greener riders on him, but he is easy to wake up and be handy when you need him to be. This is a true gentleman that just about anyone could enjoy. He is good on trails and has been in the mountains. Huey is not lonely or buddy/barn sour, he will ride off by himself or in a big group. He as been to town a handful of times for ranch roping’s and has no issues being in different settings. Huey is sure footed and will be the same horse if you ride him every day or twice a year. He is well broke, neck reins, really rides off your feet and seat. He picks up both leads, slow spins, and has a big stop! Side passes, backs up, and open/close gates. Huey is 100% sound, and healthy. He has nice straight legs and a #1 shoe, no big blemishes, No bad habits. He’s good to catch, load, shoe, tie, saddle, bridle and hobble.

🇺🇸I will be getting a Vet soundness/health exam done on him 6/23 and it will be available to interested parties, x-rays are welcome to be done at buyer’s expense.
