Description:
This Wade saddle was made by Levi Johnson at Frecker’s Saddlery in 2011. It is nicely tooled leather as Frecker’s calls "1/4 Breed" in their Prairie Rose Flower pattern, and the rest is roughout leather. Frecker’s called this a 15 1/2" seat. It measures 16" from the back of the horn to the cantle stitching. It has a smooth leather Cheyenne roll that is scuffed on the left side. 4 x 90 bars. It has a 5" diameter horn cap on a dally post horn. Flat plate double rigging. Back cinch is doubled and stitched with tooled keepers. Braided hobble ring. Oregon crossover rope strap. I think this rig sells new for $6100. This saddle is nicely used, so you don’t look like a dude, but it is still just at the beginning of its life. Levi Johnson is a well-regarded custom saddle maker on his own in Utah now. Buck Brannaman endorses Frecker’s. Check out the history of Wade saddles at https://www.freckerssaddlery.com/wade_saddle_tree_history.php $4,500. Call or text Greg at 208-863-5969
