If you are looking for a gentle, quiet horse that is safe for the entire family, then take a look at Sugar. She is a really cute, well built paint mare, 16 years old (GRADE) and 14.2 hh with a good hip, pretty head with a kind eye, and tons of chrome. Sugar has been owned by one family for most of her life and always very well taken care of, but the kiddos outgrew her so she is now looking for a new family to love her. She has done a little bit of everything, from trail riding, to working on the ranch, to playing around at some local playdays. Sugar is the same gentle horse every time you ride her, even if not ridden regularly. She has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and has a sweet, friendly disposition. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Sugar has an excellent handle and stop, will lope on both leads, and has a very smooth jog and rocking horse lope. She will sidepass, move off your leg, and work a gate. She has been taught to travel out well in the pasture, and can be ridden in a group of mares or geldings with no problem. Sugar can be ridden out by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. She has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $5500. She has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to load, haul and shoe. She recently had shoes, teeth and coggins done so she is ready to go.
