Description:
Seeking a full-time ranch assistant in Rangely, Colorado. The ranch operates a progressive cow calf operation in the mountains of NW Colorado. The ranch has exceptional facilities in great repair (including good livestock working facilities, round pen, and arena).

The ranch assistant will be responsible for care of ranch’s livestock and ranch grounds. The ranch assistant will be expected to work as a team with the other ranch employees.

A successful candidate must have experience and knowledge in a wide array of subjects including: excellent animal husbandry, experience starting horses, roping, cutting, working dogs, maintaining ranch facilities and working as a member of a team.

Candidate should have the following traits: highly motivated, high self-esteem, good communicator, flexibility, self-starter and honest.
