Description:
Seasonal ranch hands with positive attitudes needed to work and live on a large working guest ranch near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Couples and singles encouraged to apply.



This will be an educational and enjoyable summer job for the right people. Excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in land and ranch management.



Duties may include but are not limited to: Trail clearing and maintenance, fence repair, fence maintenance, new fence construction, noxious weed control, which includes using a shovel and spraying by hand. Some lawn care and general maintenance of buildings and corrals required. Hands-on learning opportunities in range management, fishery and habitat management, equipment operation. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and enjoy working outside all day. Candidates must be friendly, energetic, and willing to take direction. Must be able to overlap with other employees and assist with various chores.



Social distancing is fairly easy in Northwest Colorado; however, Covid-19 is still here. Though we hope Covid-19 will be under better control this summer, we will always keep the health and safety of our staff and guests as our top priority. We will continue to implement and follow all CDC, Colorado and local health guidelines throughout the 2021 season.



Employment to begin the end of May until the beginning of September.



Shared housing and utilities provided.



Salary and end of season bonus



No personal horses or pets. No smoking.
