Tall, dark and handsome, this big striking gelding turns heads everywhere he goes. The Duke was bred and raised on the Circle 7 Ranch in Texas; he perfectly represents their outstanding program. The Duke is the kind of horse that the entire family enjoys riding, he is exceptionally kind and as gentle as a puppy dog. He is experienced handling day work on a ranch, sure footed thru any terrain you want to ride and will go all day long. Quiet and willing with a big walk, he is a joy to ride. The Duke is quiet and simple to score, he effortlessly cruises to steers, leads them off beautifully and finishes with a snappy face. The Duke has been enjoyed by both low and high numbered headers. Quiet enough to take care of a #3 header, he has even been hauled by a 12 year old boy! The Duke is plenty of horse for a professional to take to the rodeos.
