Mustang/Paint Gelding

11 Years Old

14.2 Hh and built like a tank (carries 180lb rider regularly)

Located in Napa, CA but shipping available to some states.This beautiful mustang came to us as green-broke with a bucking problem. Now, no buck, no bite, no kick, no rear. Video and photos available by request.



After a full training restart from the ground up, he has become a reliable working ranch horse. He has been used to clear trails, pack into the backcountry (ponies and will be ponied), ride trail with and without other horses, lets you rope off of him, carries flags, etc. Could easily be trained to do even more!



Neck reins and plough reins, frames up and has good lateral movement.



He has big, hard feet and stands well for the farrier. Loads into a trailer and trailers well. Good getting on and off size. Has a good whoa and an adjustable throttle.



He is still getting better at his arena work, trails are definitely his favorite, but this tank of a horse is fully capable of any work you put in front of him and is eager for a job.
