Description:
This is an old / vintage Rawhide Reata ! It measures over 79 feet in length ! It is what braider’s call a " Pencil Thin " Reata. It’s approxamately 5/16 inches in diameter. I can feel 5 or 6 " splices " on the reata in 79 feet (last photo). Note : MOST rawhide reata’s have splices in them ! The four plait " tail " is worn & frayed in ( 4th photo). But the reata itself has been conditioned with rawhide cream over the years and is soft and plyable with no issue’s about dryness or cracking. It would be a nice example of a vintage reata for someone’s collection or for hanging on an antique saddle. Note: I ship Priority mail, fully insured with a tracking number
