Description:
Boss is a 10yr old, 14.3 hand, 1100lb bay cow horse. He is an own son of NCHA earner/producer Jazarell Cat, by Highbrow Cat, and out of an earner/producing daughter of Doc’s Strawboss, by Doc Bar. He is a finished cutter that was a finalist in the 2014 NCHA $100,000 Amateur Futurity. Was shown some after that and is a NCHA money earner. Has also been shown in some ranch horse classes and trail classes, ridden by a novice. This is a super gentle, kind horse that is very easy to get along with. Gentle enough for anybody that can sit in the middle of the saddle on a cow! That being said, he is very quick and catty on a cow and has tons of ability. We have been using him outside here on our ranch in central NM and he is making a hand. Been tracking some slow cattle in the pens and logging him, good with the rope, and could step right up and make a nice rope horse quick. He could also go back to the cutting pen with a little refresher, or make one heck of a sort’n horse right now.
