Description:
Lee Martinell Co., a family owned and operated cattle ranch in south west Montana, is seeking an honest, responsible and dependable ranch hand. Applicant should be a self-starter and able to work alone when needed. Job tasks will largely include hand feeding 4x4 square bales, fixing fence, flood irrigating, cleaning calving pens, other general maintenance as needed and general day to day chores. The general knowledge of operating and maintaining farm machinery would be valued. Horse and cattle experience are a plus, but this is not a “cowboy” job. Heavy lifting, walking and working in inclement weather may be required. On ranch housing is provided. Located 40 miles from nearest grocery store and 100 miles from nearest Walmart. Wage DOE. Immediate starting date.
