Description of Operation:



Palo Duro Feedyard is a 37,000 head feedyard in the Texas Panhandle, near Gruver, TX approximately 90 miles north of Amarillo, TX. Palo Duro Feedyard is an entity owned by Texas Beef LTD., and is part of a group of feedyards, ranches, and farm properties.



Position: Head Processor



Responsibilities:



1. Scheduling and managing daily activities of processing crew. (Strong leadership and communication skills are a must.)

2. Processing, weighing sorts, and penning cattle back.

3. Maintaining thorough and accurate records of drugs and tags used in daily processing.



Salary/Benefits: $2500-$3500/month depending on experience and qualifications. Health insurance is available through the company and a portion is paid by the company. A competitive year-end bonus structure is available (but not guaranteed) after the first full calendar year of employment.
