Scotty is a gorgeous red dun gelding that is the ultimate go to horse everyone needs. He’s super broke, safe, gentle, solid and fun to ride even for you granddad. He came off a very large ranch in Montana and was a 79 year old mans personal horse. He’s proficient at all tasks needed... gathering big pastures, prowling for strays, penning, sorting pairs, roping and doctoring sicks, dragging calves, loading trucks, ponying colts and riding fence lines. He’s all heart and will give you 100% everyday. He’s been used for ranch rodeos and is great at new places. He’s been hauled and used for lower level ranch sorting. He rides comfortable in the arena and will walk, trot lope, neck rein, pivot and stop well when asked. We’ve tracked and roped the dummy on him and he shows a lot of interest in that if someone wanted to pursue making him a team roping horse. Scotty is an amazing trail horse and will go anywhere you want him to. He’s been ridden in extremely rough county in the mountains, through rivers and streams, up the steepest hills, over big logs and bridges.
