Description:
Joker is a cute 13 year old pony gelding, 10.2hh with the most amazing long, thick mane and tail. He is sound with excellent feet and no previous founder issues, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. Joker is an excellent lead line pony and will willingly follow a person or a horse anywhere. He has mainly done leadline but I have recently been working with him on riding solo. He will ride on his own with encouragement but he prefers to walk or trot. Joker has a good handle and easily goes where he is pointed, turns well and will stop and back easily. He doesn’t have any of your typical bad pony habits other than he can sometimes be a turd to catch in a large pasture. But he was turned out for 3 years before we bought him so he is getting better about that the more we mess with him. Joker loads like a dream, will stand quietly tied, and is easy to saddle and bridle. He has never had his feet trimmed, they have always trimmed themselves, so he still needs work sometimes with picking up his back feet. I was told he pulls a buggy but have never hooked him up to one so I cannot say if he really does or not. He just got his coggins pulled and is ready to make someone a wonderful Christmas present.
