Job Available Now.



Registered Red Angus Seedstock Operation looking for a Ranch Hand to be in charge of winter calving. Calving Heifers experience required. We will be calving out around 50-60 first calf heifers starting early January. You will also be responsible for calving the rest of the herd along with the heifers.



Duties prior to calving season: Building New Fence. Repairing Existing Fence. Feeding Cattle. Gathering, Sorting, and Working Cattle. Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance.



Duties During Calving Season: Day and Night Calving. Feeding Cattle. Identifying Sick Cattle. Prepare Bulls for Spring Sale. Fence Maintenance.



Requirements: Calving Experience. Identifying and Treating Sick Cattle. Fencing Experience. Working Cattle by Horseback.



Bonus Skills: Welding. Machinery and Equipment Maintenance and Repair.



This Job could turn into long term ranch hand and/or ranch manager for the right employee.



Housing Provided. Ranch Truck Provided. Salary based on experience.
