Job Description:



The Indian Head Ranch is located near Las Vegas, NM. We are a guest ranch and working cattle ranch. The ranch is in need of a ranch hand/maintenance man that is not scared of hard work and not in need of constant supervision. Needs to be able to work with a crew and alone to complete tasks, be able to show up on time ready to work, self-motivated, honest, and willing to take direction. Ability to communicate is key.



This is not a cowboy job, but you will help from time to time working cattle.



Duties will include, but not limited to: building and repairing fence, general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and facilities, landscaping, feeding, gathering, and sorting cattle, feeding and exercising horses



Desired Skills/Knowledge: welding, equipment operation (ag tractor, bobcat, backhoe), mechanical maintenance, electrical, some carpentry, animal husbandry. All skills are not necessary but the desire to learn is crucial!





Applicant must have a clean driving record, be able to pass a background check, and a drug test.
