He is family friendly and stays gentle and quiet minded even after time off. Young riders have learned to rope of off him and drug their first calves to the branding fire, guests have rode him all over and he is still broke enough to take and get a job done with. He is nicely trained and rides one handed with a good neck rein, nice stop, moves off your hands and legs and will set back over his hocks to turn. He can lope nice easy circles while collected up in the arena or hit a smooth trot and cruise across the pasture to gather the cows. Bento rides out relaxed alone or in a group, rides bridleless, carries flags, crosses tarps, water and other obstacles with ease. Very friendly personality and will greet you at the gate ready to go.
