Description:
Juppie is a 15 yr old seasoned ranch horse. I bought him as two year old from a good friend who raised him. This is a one owner horse. He’s a registered quarter horse but the papers are lost so he’ll sell as grade. He’s been used as a guides horse at a dude ranch, roped both ends in the arena, drug cows in the trailer, sorted and gathered cattle regularly. Crosses water fine and will go up or down any hill or canyon you point him at. Has mainly been used as a ranch and trail horse. Quiet around cows. Loads in the trailer great. Shoes, stands tied, is hobble broke, easy to catch and is quiet to be around. He’s handy broke, breaks at the poll and is very light in the mouth. Backs up, works gates, side passes, lopes off etc. Has a rocking chair lope to him and a trot you can ride all day. Carries himself well with a low head set and is very gentle. Big, pretty horse that stands 16 hands and weighs probably 1300. He’s Black but is faded a bit now in the pics from the sun. Only selling because I bought two young horses and need to use them. Nice horse.
