He is a flashy 10 year old red dun gelding, 14.2 hh and nicely built with four black feet, tiger striping on his legs, and a kind eye. Cody is extremely well bred, AQHA registered as “Docta Dun” #5303523. He is by Dun it with a Twist, an own son of Hollywood Dun It, and out of an own daughter of Genuine Doc. Cody was started as a reiner but never shown due to his owner’s finances, then used as a ranch horse and trail horse and also ridden English and jumped over small jumps. He could easily go to the show pen with just a little tune up. In the end of his video you will see some stops and spins from when he was 5 years old, so you know what he is capable of. Cody is gentle for just about anyone to ride and be around, with absolutely no buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. He is kind and dependable, the same horse every time you ride him. He will chase you down in the pasture begging for attention, and loves to be groomed. Cody is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He has a smooth trot and lope, good neck rein, and a nice stop. He is good on both leads, will sidepass and work a gate. Cody has been used to push and sort cattle and really enjoys it. He will go up, over or through anything you point him at. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group.
