Description:
Classic Shiner aka “Cricket” is a 14.1 hh seven year old AQHA gelding, located in Halliday, ND. Is well bred (back to Shining Spark and Hunka Dual Pep) and it shows. He has a great willing disposition. Really enjoys his person, for those who are relationship oriented. He was started right with a fair amount of buttons. W/T/L, with a really nice soft jog. Wants to keep his head level. Wants to stop, but is always responsive when you ask for the go. Soft mouth and responsive to legs. He has a start of a decent spin. Great on a longe line, always respectful on the ground; a sweetheart really. Has had a rope swung off of him, dragged a rope, traveled to Medora and some youth rodeos, and done plenty of trails. Far as I know he has not done cow work, but has been in a pasture with cows. Been around kids, dogs, four wheelers, chickens. I really have no complaints about this little gelding. Only possible negative is that he is low down on the pecking order.



That being said, he just hasn’t had the miles to be finished. He should have an experienced rider to bring him up to his potential. Being a full time working mom with three little kids coming up on horses, I realistically don’t have the time to take him to the next level. With consistent riding he will be a great little horse. Good with his feet, good with a trailer, up to date on shots. Easy keeper. If you meet him, you will not be disappointed. For video Try pasting the link below.
